We use your data only to:

  • review your application;
  • offer you permanent or temporary positions that match your profile;
  • contact you about them.

Legal basis: your consent

Processing is based on your consent, given by ticking the box provided when you submit your CV. This consent covers the storage and use of your data for the purposes above.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to infoge@placetowork.ch. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before.

Recipients

  • Place to Work staff in charge of recruitment, in our Geneva and Nyon branches;

Disclosure abroad

Your CV and contact details stay in Switzerland: the website and our mailbox are hosted by Infomaniak in Geneva. When you open the CV submission form, the Cloudflare Turnstile bot protection receives your IP address and technical information about your browser, which are processed in the United States by Cloudflare, Inc., also certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Browsing data collected by Microsoft Clarity (see “Audience measurement” below) is processed in the United States by Microsoft Corporation. Microsoft is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the Federal Council recognises as ensuring an adequate level of protection.

Audience measurement (Microsoft Clarity)

To understand how the website is used and to improve it, we use Microsoft Clarity, an audience measurement tool from Microsoft Corporation (United States).

Clarity records how you browse the site without identifying you by name: pages viewed, clicks, scrolling and mouse movements, device and browser type, and the country derived from your IP address. We use this to produce statistics, heatmaps and recordings of visits. What you type into the CV submission form is masked and not sent to Microsoft.

Microsoft keeps recordings of visits for 30 days and statistics for up to 13 months. Place to Work does not use this data for advertising.

You can object to this measurement by blocking cookies or the clarity.ms domain in your browser; the site works normally without them. More information: Microsoft privacy statement, privacy.microsoft.com.

Cookies and browser storage

This website does not use advertising trackers. Microsoft Clarity may set two cookies: _clck (13 months), which recognises your browser from one visit to the next, and _clsk (24 hours), which links the pages of a single visit. For visits from Switzerland and Europe, Clarity only sets these cookies with your consent; without consent, measurement takes place without cookies.

The language of the site is part of its address (for example /en for English): nothing is stored in your browser to remember it.

Changes

We may update this policy. The version published on this page is the one that applies.
